Mapping the world's ocean currents. Citilab has just published this study into how rubbish is moved around the oceans via the oceans currents. Throwing a message in a bottle into the sea is going to have a fairly predictable outcome in terms of where it will end up. The BBC reports : "A container filled with millions of Lego pieces fell into the sea off Cornwall in 1997. Kathleen Dohan of Earth & Space Research in Seattle has been interviewed by Laurer Parker of National Geographic.
