5-1 Milan: ‘I’d like to stay for the rest of the season’

05/10/2016 07:03:50 Milan striker Andrea Belotti has warned his team-mates they will need to perform if they are to stay up for the remainder of the campaign.

The 24-year-old was on target for the 1-0 victory over Sassuolo on Saturday but Milan are already short of goals after just one win in their last four games.

“The goal is good for us, but I’m worried we’re not at the top,” Belotti said.

“I’m not saying we won’t win but we’ve only played two games and we’re in the Europa League, so it’s a bit difficult.”

We’re only one point behind the leaders and I want to stay here.

“Maybe we need to make some changes and we need a bit of luck.”

The Rossoneri have lost seven of their last eight Serie A games, losing two by a combined total of 16 points.
